Vice President of Consumers International

Gilly Wong has been the Vice President of Consumers International since November 2015.  She is now serving the third four-year term. The Vice President is a non-executive position.

As Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Consumer Council, Gilly oversaw the first cross-strait symposium on consumer protection in the Greater China region in 2014, which fostered regional partnerships and experience sharing around consumer welfare. She sits on the boards of the Estate Agents Authority, Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases; the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification and Deposit-taking Companies Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority. Prior to this she was the General Manager, MICE and Cruise at the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
