How we create change

In our interconnected world, no single organisation can achieve the level of change required alone. We believe that bringing the right people together, at the right time, on the right topic, is the best way to make change happen. 

We do this by working with both our Members and our Change Network of governments, civil society, business, and academia, to tackle key consumer challenges and opportunities on consumer issues faster, alongside influencing at the highest level of global decision-making. 

Delivering impact for consumers globally

Our strategy increases our capacity to drive change quickly in the global marketplace and in international policy-making forums for consumers around the world. It encompasses four core pillars: 

  • Representing and influencing: We represent consumers and our Members in the international marketplace and in global policy-making forums
  • Member connection and sharing: We support our Members to share insight, information and cooperate on a wide range of consumer issues. 
  • Impactful projects: We design innovative solutions to consumer challenges, working with our Members and partners to deliver projects that make a real impact on people's lives. 
  • Convening a broader community: We bring together our Members, consumer experts from around the world, together with a global network of governments, civil society, business, and academics to tackle consumer challenges or seize opportunities quickly.
