Navigating the World of Plastics

CEJ launched a digital tool to help consumers and citizens navigate plastics-related information. The tool includes over 100 scientific reports, 80 infographics, and 50 audiovisual resources sourced from research institutions and organisations such as GAIA, Greenpeace, and Consumers International.

Empowering Consumers for Sustainable Lifestyles

Saroja Sundaram, CEO of the Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group (CAG), was a guest speaker at a webinar organised by the Chair of Consumer Law at the National Law University, Delhi, discussing how to empower consumers to adopt sustainable lifestyles. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, GOI.

Empowering Consumers as Partners for Sustainability

Fair Finance Asia (FFA) hosted a webinar on 13 March 2025, focusing on the growing demand for transparency and accountability from Asian banks and financial institutions. The session explored how banks can balance inclusion with consumer empowerment, financial literacy, and sustainability efforts, ensuring consumers are well-informed and can hold institutions accountable.

The event featured key findings from FFA’s new scorecard, a multistakeholder dialogue on the role of empowered consumers, and examples of policies that foster social and environmental sustainability in the financial sector.
