Trusted Smart Products
Welcome to the exclusive World Consumer Rights Day 2019 resources hub for Consumers International members. Below you will find a collection of briefings and resources to help you prepare your campaign and activities for the day.
From smart phones to wearable fitness trackers, to voice-activated assistants and smart TVs, many of the products we use are increasingly becoming connected by default. Understanding this emerging digital issue means we can anticipate challenges and advocate for consumers wherever we are. World Consumers Rights Day is our opportunity to highlight what consumers want and need from a connected world and put them at the heart of the development of these digital products and services.
To ensure you are fully prepared for the day, we have created a campaign pack with more details on next year’s theme and how you can get involved. We also have an issue briefing outlining some of the issues with smart products, what action has been taken my our members across the globe and a suggestions of a joint action.
