Healthy Living and Women Empowerment Initiative (HELWEI)

Healthy Living and Women Empowerment Initiative (HELWEI) is a non-governmental and not- for-profit organization registered in 2013 in Nigeria to promote health and well-being. We aim to do this by improving the socio-economic conditions of women and children in particular, through education, advocacy, livelihood improvement and providing strategic supports. Our commitment is to strengthen health outcomes and bridge the divide between poverty and health. This is hinged on our conviction that qualitative outcomes in the area of health, nutrition and rights of women can only be attained with desired social inclusion, effective planning and holistic programmatic solutions.
