Youth Education Network
As Director of Programs of Youth Education Network, Michael has coordinated a Kenya national workshop which facilitated partnerships and experience sharing around Food pricing and safety in 2022. He sits on the National Executive Committee and Governing Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of Kenya and Toxicology Society of Kenya.
Youth Education Network (YEN) office is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) registered under the NGO Coordination Board. YEN's mission is to empower young consumers through information and vocational training. YEN’s vision is to achieve an informed and lived society equipped with problem solving skills to tackle the day to day challenges. YEN implements projects related to the environment, vocational education training, children rights, healthy eating, water and sanitation. YEN provides a range of services to the community in partnership with a number of community based organisations, local authorities and schools to over 5,000 direct beneficiaries and to over 1,000 families in Nairobi and Mumias and over 10 villages mainly in rural western Kenya. However the scope of its work reaches millions of Kenyans through media.
