Official observer status

 

Consumers International has official observer status, as well as a long history of co-operation with the world food standards setting body, Codex Alimentarius. We contribute to Codex work on areas such as food labelling and antimicrobial resistance. Codex Standards are important because they are referred to in World Trade Organization disputes.
