In the face of global crises like climate change and rising prices, and as we adapt to a greener, more digitalised world, we can no longer stand alone or work in siloes.

Leaders from across the marketplace and around the world need to work together to protect and empower consumers for years to come.

To shape a better future for consumers, our unique Change Network unites the consumer movement with leading organisations across government, academia, civil society and business. Together, we work towards a shared vision of a marketplace that is safe, fair and sustainable for consumers everywhere.

Organisations in our Change Network put people first, champion the consumer movement, develop unique insight and build consumer trust by design.

Our work together is underpinned by a commitment to the 11 legitimate consumer needs, outlined in the UN Guidelines for Consumer Protection

Together, we've led major initiatives and driven impact on key issues.

  • With the support of the Rockefeller Foundation, we explored the root of excessive prices for healthy and nutritious foods in Africa. Together we reached 30 million consumers, developed the Fair Food Price Monitor, and saw significant regulatory response in Nigeria, Kenya and Zambia.
  • In collaboration with Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP-World Bank) and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, our Fair Digital Finance Accelerator bridges the gap between consumer groups and regulatory bodies in low- and middle-income countries.
  • We partnered with the World Farmers' Organisation to lead the first ever global dialogue between farmers and consumer advocates.
